Negatieve ervaring: I'll never book my trips with LiveAboard.com again after my terrible diving accident in the Maldives 4 months ago and the way they handled it. We were thrown to dive in the craziest current I've ever experienced, my buddy swooned and was drowning, I had to bring him to the surface as quickly as possible. And once on the boat (Amba), the 2 emergency oxygen tanks were empty, criminal lack of basic security equipment, putting my health and my life in danger. LiveAboard.com (through which I booked that trip) refused to take mesures against Amba boat and to compensate me, rending itself accomplice of this criminal situation. 4 months later, I'm still struggling with this trauma. On top of it, the dive insurance they recommend, DiveAssure, managed not to pay during my stay at 3 hospitals - and didn't refund me once I was home. It had cost me 4000 euros (5 hours at the decompression chamber cost a lot of money). And they only publish positive reviews, so when people book, all the boats are good notes. I wrote 2 negative reviews (other than Amba, it was Agos were most of the divers had a heavy food poisoning and some ended up in a hospital) which were never published on their site. That's cheating

Negatieve ervaring: Bereits vor der Buchung wurde uns per E-Mail ausdrücklich geraten, mit der Flugbuchung zu warten, bis die Bootsbuchung bestätigt ist. Nachdem wir die Bestätigung schließlich erhalten hatten, buchten wir sofort den Flug und zahlten beides – Boot und Flug – vollständig im Voraus. Kurz darauf wurde das Boot jedoch vom Anbieter storniert. Den bereits gezahlten Betrag für das Boot erhielten wir erst nach mehreren Telefonaten und viel Nachdruck zurück. Noch enttäuschender war jedoch, dass keinerlei Verantwortung für die entstandenen Flugkosten übernommen wurde – obwohl man uns vorher selbst geraten hatte, mit der Flugbuchung zu warten. Das Verhalten war intransparent, unprofessionell und insgesamt äußerst enttäuschend.

Fantastische ervaring: 欲張らずにクルーズを楽しみましょう ガイドやクルーはフレンドリーかつ親切でした。 サメやカメなどに頻繁に出会えるし、魚群もたくさん見られました。 共用場所に電源プラグが備えてあり、カメラ等の充電がしやすいです。 ずっとWiFiがつながっており、他のダイバーと写真などの交換がしやすかったです。 一人参加で日本人は私だけでしたが、他のダイバーとの交流が非常に楽しかったです。 （ある程度の英語力が必要です） 特に最終夜のプチパーティが大変盛り上がりました。 （ガイドやクルーでなく、ダイバーのノリで始めたものです） 透明度の低い場所もあったし、マンタ待ちぼうけのこともありましたが、そこで何を楽しめるかを探せれば何の悔いも残らないでしょう。 カレントの強いサイトがあるので、カレントフックを持参することをお勧めします。 10万ルピア札に載っている場所を見学したり、ビーチ散策など、ダイビング以外の楽しみもありました。

Fantastische ervaring: I have used Liveaboard.com since 2018 to book the last 6 trips that my wife and I have gone on. They have been wonderful to work with and all our trips were very easy to book. In fact during COVID when we had to cancel our Thailand trip they gave us full credit towards a future trip which we used for Red Sea and Nile River cruise in 2023. So really counting the Thailand trip and the Solomon Islands that I just booked we have used Liveaboard 8 times.

Glück bei den Tauchgängen als auch bei dem nächtlichen Besuch durch einen whale shark . Küche war ok und schmeckte lecker. 24 Stunden Heissgetränke . Ich hatte meinen Spaß , da auch ein Unterwasserscooter gemietet werden konnte . Die Leute auf dem Dhoni super hilfsbereit und natürlich nitrox for free.

Positieve ervaring: We enjoyed our five day Apo Reef trip. The food was great and the staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I’m only giving 4 stars because we were next to the engine room and it was really loud. Not a big deal and I put in ear plugs for sleeping. We were on a boat after all and I expected to need to get used to that. The diving out at Apo was spectacular. We got over to the island to look around. I didn’t want the trip to end. We came away with great memories and many new friends.

I made my booking a whole year in advance, and Liveaboard gave me timely updates and reminders along the way to prepare for my trip. When I sent my questions to the Liveaboard team, they were also very responsive and got me all the answers that I needed. Will look to Liveaboard again when I am researching my next trip!

Negatieve ervaring: Don't book your dive safari with Liveaboard.com. They cancel your booking one week before your trip. Support is not informed about details in the regions. They give standard reasons for cancelling everything. Currently, egypt safari tours are complicated due to new regulations for safari boats. Mechanical technicians are required to do a safari tour. But for 200 boats they have around 20 mechanical guys currently. If boats are not fully booked, they get cancelled one week before as well. Check for boats and diving centers on your own and contact them directly. Our biggest mistake was to rely in this travel center.

Fantastische ervaring: Wir haben bisher zwei mal über LiveAbord gebucht. Das erste Mal war gleichzeitig unsere erste Tauchsafari und ich war entsprechend nervös. Das Team vom Kundenservice hat meine (im Nachgang gesehen teilweise echt blöden) Fragen immer schnell und freundlich beantwortet. Das hat mir viel Sicherheit gegeben. Beim zweiten Mal hatten wir Probleme mit dem Flug und wurden von unserer Airline komplett umgebucht, als wir schon unterwegs sein sollten. Das Team vom Kundenservice war auch hier wieder auf Zack und hat unseren Transfer ganz kurzfristig Samstag Nachmittag noch angepasst, solange wir über den Wolken waren. Ich buche gern wieder bei LiveAboard!

Fantastische ervaring: Oitava vez que viajo com eles, jeito maravilho de fazer uma viagem dos sonhos e que as vezes é inviável ao bolso de muitos, a forma de pagamento é singular, vc paga 20 ou 30% do total e “financia” o restante até 2 meses do embarque, para quem pode e tem disponibilidade é ótimo pois eles abrem viagens com 24 meses de antecedência, logo a gente tem todo esse tempo para ir liquidando de forma suave a viagem.

The support is excellent I was on a 5 night cruise in the Galapagos on the Galaxy .A small modern 16 person boat. It was extremely well organised with an excellent and knowledgeable naturalist called Carmen. The boat was very comfortable and newly refurbished with lovely staff. The itinerary was very varied with gentle walks on the islands ,dingy trips along the shoreline snorkeling and a kayak ride. So much amazing wildlife. A fantastic trip.

The people on the boat were awesome and very professional. The Boat was really nice. They mixed in some land excursions that really made the trip more fun and adventurous. The overall experience was just awesome! On a note, some of the photos were taken by Calvin and Patrick as well. They did a great job of what we had seen with their photos. Negatieve ervaring: I had a quite negative experience with this company, and this one-star review is for the unfairness of the Liveaboard company. During the dive safari in Thailand organized by this company, my wife and I were robbed. We used the safe box for some of our valuables, while some money was hidden in one of our bags—but it was stolen. The crew of the boat (Sawasdee Fasai) did nothing, even though they had cameras on board. There was no police involvement, no investigation, and the Liveaboard company also did nothing. The main issue for us is that the Liveaboard company never published my review for this boat. I did not violate any review policies. When I asked why my review was not published, they responded: "This is, however, a manual process, which is why your review might not show (yet). We also require a minimum number of reviews for each vessel to allow a balanced opinion and a realistic average review score." It has been nine months since we did this safari, and my review is still not published. Meanwhile, over 30 new reviews have been posted. I assume that my rating was simply too low for their threshold. As a result, whatever you see on their website consists mostly of neutral-to-positive reviews, as the others are likely filtered out. Not related to the review score here, but since this is not published on the website my review for Sawasdee Fasai also included other issues besides being robbed: The crew was mobbing anyone who wasn’t using Nitrox, using swear words and aggressive sales tactics to sell the course. We didn’t buy it—maybe that’s why we were robbed… The underwater conditions were often miscalculated. Before the dive, we were given one set of conditions, but in about half the cases, they turned out to be different once we were in the water. I suspect this unprofessionalism led to the cancellation of our second night dive. The conditions that evening were as calm as they could possibly be, so I can’t imagine why it was called off.

Fantastische ervaring: The Revillagigedo National Park is absolutely amazing, every dive gave us encounters and experiences that in any other part of the world would be out of the ordinary. In this place, it really seems like time has never passed, and animals can feel curious about divers and seek interaction. The boat is nice and comfortable and offers different areas to spend time on board. The crew was great, they took care of us, solved any issue that could arise and they made the experience more than just a diving trip. Special mention to the diving instructors, who were able to plan the dives perfectly thanks to their knowledge of the park and to transmit their love and passion for this place

Now 2 months before the trip, the boat has a lot of bad reviews about safety and noises on the boat. Therefore, I wanted to change the boat. It was quite a fight with the owner of the boat. LiveAboard has helped me to cancel the trip without any cancelation fee and switching the boat, I am very happy about it as they just saved my holiday which i had to save money for a long time! Positieve ervaring: Nous avons passé 5 jours en Thaïlande sur le Merdeka 3. Les + plongées en mer d'andaman sud étaient magiques, le cuisine était bonne et massages de qualité. Les - Le bateau était bruyant impossible de dormir même dans les chambres supérieures. La propreté, il y avait même des cafards! et de moisissure dans les chambres, les draps et serviettes avaient des tâches!. Nous avons uniquement une vieilles serviettes par personne. Alors que nous devions en avoir pour se laver et pour la baignade! La croisière était principalement sur la plongée et non matin plongées et après-midi visites comme cela était stipulé. Liveaboard devrait mieux vérifier leurs partenaires. J'ai eu du mal à avoir des retours de Liveaboard sur cette croisière quand je posais des questions. Même si les plongées sont très belles le rapport qualité prix sur ce bateau n'y est pas. Il doivent faire un réel effort sur la partie hôtellerie et aussi pollution et le bruit.

Not once have I had problems or negative experiences on either the trips or with the booking via the company. Everything has been smooth and the level of service is simply overwhelming. They simply and plainly just do an amazing job making sure the customers trips goes to plan! I will for sure keep using liveaboard.com to book my future trips and cannot recommend them enough.

Negatieve ervaring: Due to writing limit only short: "18.12.2024: Fire? on diving boat “Discovery I” in the red sea, 20km off coast south of Safarga after 22:00 local time. " Intense smoke came from the engine compartment. All guests were ordered into the inflatable boats. The life raft was thrown into the water and did not inflate. The fire? was brought under control by the crew with the help of many fire extinguishers and the boat drove straight to Hurghada with the remaining working engine. Summarisation: Although theses kind of incidents on diving boats are increasing within the red sea, the boat was insufficiently prepared. (LIFE raft defect; no CB radio; not enough gasoline in the tanks of the dinghies; fixed lifebuoys) The crew was insufficiently prepared or trained for these kind of incidents The captain ignored all security problems and did not sail the shortest way to the coast to ensure that in case of a follow up incident the people on board can be rescued easily. Liveaboard showed no interest in truly understanding what happened in order to define actions for future improvements. The incident was not compensated sufficiently.

Fantastische ervaring: The booking process was easy, and I got quick answers to my questions. Even though different staff members replied, they followed up well with each other, so there were no problems. I wasn't sure how to check the reward cash, but when I made a reservation for the other riverboard and entered my email and other details, the cash was automatically applied.

Fantastische ervaring: I recently completed a trip to Socorro Island (Revillagigedo Archipelego) on the Nautilus Belle Amie booked through Liveaboard.com. The staff at Liveaboard.com respond promptly and are happy to answer any questions and to coordinate with the dive operators. Fantastische ervaring: From start to finish this was an amazing experience!!! Captain Ian was hands on with tons of experience. He kept safety first but still took us to the best dive sites! Chef Julian made the best homemade food with tons of options. We were all impressed with what he could do daily! Fantastische ervaring: It was a great experience: this is our 6th liveaboard and it has been one of the best. Diving in Komodo is a must, because you can see big fish and beautiful corals. Trekking with the dragons is also a must. The crew is great, you can feel the good vibes, especially Fatly, who is the soul of the group, a great guide and a great team leader!

Negatieve ervaring: I've had a great experience with liveaboard.com previously; however, I had to cancel a trip I booked recently due to some family health concerns. I had to send multiple emails, and then finally call the company, to have my trip canceled. At this point, after canceling the trip about a month ago, I have yet to receive a refund (and I canceled well within the cancellation window). The company does not respond to my emails inquiring about the status of the refund. If I call them, they will finally respond; however, no action has actually been taken on refunding my payment. The customer service is rather poor. While I appreciate the company's overview of liveaboards, moving forward, I will only book with the actual ship itself.

Fantastische ervaring: LiveAboard.com did a great job getting me on the dive trip I wanted. Personnel were quick to answer all my questions with thorough explanations. The dive trip was fantastic. The only surprise was the itinerary indicated the last night could be spent on the boat in port. I was told I had to leave and hadn't made prior arrangements.

Fantastische ervaring: Great trip! Incredible staff that exceeded our expectations and truly gave it everything they had. The diving was really good even if a little cold given the time of year. We saw oceanic white tip sharks up close, mantas, dolphin, turtles, lots of beautiful fish. The dive briefings were interesting and well presented. Sometimes I wished for a film or educational offering in the evening on something interesting about the Red Sea. The ship was in good condition, clean and very comfortable. We did 21 dives including 2 night dives. We were very well taken care of gearing up & getting out of the water. The Zodiac ladder could use improvement because it is hard to use in the waves. The food was very good and plentiful and thoughtfully presented. A few divers got sick with colds on the trip. On a recent Antarctica cruise, there was always a staff member holding a pump bottle of hand sanitizer at the entrance of the dining room so every person entering cleaned their hands before the buffet. I think it makes sense to do this before handling all the serving utensils on the buffet. Maybe less people will lose time to a cold. The captain handled the boat well. He could wear a uniform at least at the start and end of the trip to look the part and interact more with guests as he is an integral part of the team. This trip was very memorable, affordable and we will definitely return for more!! We highly recommend it.

Fantastische ervaring: I did my first liveaboard through Liveaboard.com, on the Sawasdee Fasai in Northern Andaman Sea. What an unforgettable experience. The crew has been super friendly, laidback, but also very knowledgeable and organized - allowing us to keep up with schedule. Liveaboard customer care was nothing short of perfect, ensuring I could just focus on diving. The dive spots were out of this world - and I would definitely dive there again. Koh Bon was very special as the visibility was particularly good. Special reference also to the food - the 5 meals per day were always (and I mean ALWAYS) delicious. And again, the team was so friendly and kind, they made me want to stay on the boat for the next liveaboard. The boat is also very spacious, clean and comfortable. I will stop there as I am running short of superlatives. But I am definitely looking forward to coming back and would absolutely recommend booking through Liveaboard.com

Negatieve ervaring: I tried to book a dive trip advertised by Liveaboard.com, 24 days later they emailed me saying the trip was full, and offered me an alternative trip which had 4 spaces, I immediately accepted. They then called me the next day to tell me that it was fully booked, and they then offered me the same dive trip that I had booked 3 weeks ago. This is very unprofessional, the customer service is terrible.
